Overview
Arizona Cardinals
A century of football, a legacy in motion
The Cardinals’ 2008 run gave Arizona one of the most thrilling playoff chapters in NFL history: a last-second win in the NFC Championship Game and a Super Bowl that went down to the final moments. It added a high point to a franchise whose history reaches back to the league’s earliest years.
Cardinals fans have carried the team’s traditions through its moves from Chicago to St. Louis and Arizona, building a desert home in the Valley. The NFC West gives them regional showdowns with the 49ers, Seahawks, and Rams—and chances to welcome traveling fans.
