Overview
Arizona Wildcats
Bear Down, Arizona
Arizona’s 1994 “Desert Swarm” defense carried the Wildcats to a Fiesta Bowl victory over Miami, one of the most memorable wins in program history. The team’s 1998 Holiday Bowl triumph over Nebraska added another signature postseason chapter.
Wildcat fans fill Tucson with red-and-blue pride and make “Bear Down” a rallying cry across the state. The Territorial Cup against Arizona State is the defining rivalry, while matchups with UCLA and Utah connect the program to western football history.
