Overview
Brooklyn Nets
Brooklyn’s bold basketball spirit
The Nets won ABA championships in 1974 and 1976, led by Julius Erving, before beginning their NBA chapter. Their history includes Finals appearances in 2002 and 2003 and a home identity built around Brooklyn’s unmistakable borough pride.
Brooklyn fans bring neighborhood character and a distinctive black-and-white style to Barclays Center. The crosstown Knicks rivalry gives New York basketball a local edge, while matchups with Boston and Philadelphia connect the Nets to storied Northeast rivalries.
