Overview
BYU Cougars
Rise and shout, Cougars
BYU completed an undefeated season and claimed the 1984 national championship, a singular achievement in college football history. The Cougars’ record-setting offenses and celebrated quarterbacks, including Ty Detmer, built a program known for competing on the national stage.
“Rise and Shout” and royal-blue crowds give BYU game days a distinct Provo spirit. The rivalry with Utah is the “Holy War,” while matchups with Boise State and Utah State bring regional history and bragging rights.
