Chicago Cubs
The wait ended at Wrigley
In 2016, the Cubs won a thrilling Game 7 in extra innings to claim their first World Series title since 1908. The moment capped a season of resilience and gave Chicago one of the most joyful celebrations in sports history.
Generations of Cubs fans gather at Wrigley Field, sing “Go, Cubs, Go,” and turn the surrounding neighborhood into part of the ballpark experience. The rivalry with the Cardinals is a classic NL Central contest, while the crosstown White Sox series brings Chicago bragging rights into play.
