Connecticut Sun: Connecticut basketball pride
The Sun have repeatedly turned Connecticut into a destination for high-level basketball, reaching the WNBA Finals in 2004, 2005, 2019, and 2022. Those runs reflect a franchise known for disciplined play, star talent, and sustained postseason ambition.
Sun fans bring Connecticut pride to Uncasville and create an intimate, energetic home atmosphere. Rivalries with the New York Liberty and Chicago Sky bring Eastern Conference intensity, while meetings with the Las Vegas Aces have carried championship stakes.
