Detroit roars in October
The Tigers’ 1968 championship brought Detroit a beloved World Series victory, and the 1984 team followed with a dominant start-to-finish title season. Those clubs, along with generations of stars, give the franchise a proud place in Motor City sports history.
“Bless You Boys” captures the affection and humor Tigers fans bring to the ballpark, carrying old traditions into Comerica Park. The rivalry with Cleveland is one of the AL Central’s most familiar, while Chicago and Minnesota provide more divisional history and summer-long bragging rights.
