Owls take flight in Boca
Florida Atlantic’s 2017 team went 11–3, won Conference USA, and capped the season with a Boca Raton Bowl victory. The run gave the Owls their first conference championship and a defining football milestone in South Florida.
FAU fans bring “Owl Prowl” energy to Boca Raton and rally around the blue-and-red bird identity. The Shula Bowl against FIU is the local rivalry, while games with UAB and Memphis connect the Owls to a wide southern footprint.
