Florida Gators
Chomp loud, Gator Nation
Florida’s national championships in 1996, 2006, and 2008 featured championship teams led by Steve Spurrier and Urban Meyer. Tim Tebow’s 2008 title run and the 1996 Fiesta Bowl victory over Florida State remain among the program’s defining moments.
Gator fans bring the “Gator Chomp” and orange-and-blue pride to Gainesville and across the state. The annual clash with Georgia in Jacksonville is the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party, while Florida State and Tennessee add storied rivalries.
