Overview
Jacksonville State Gamecocks
Cock-a-doodle-doo, Gamecocks
Jacksonville State won FCS national championships in 2004, 2015, and 2016, building a proud playoff tradition in Alabama. The Gamecocks also reached the FCS title game in 2020–21 before establishing their place in FBS football.
Gamecock fans bring red-and-white pride and a close-knit Jacksonville community to every game. Regional matchups with Middle Tennessee and Liberty create new conference rivalries, while the program’s Alabama roots connect it to a rich football state.
