Overview
Kansas City Royals
Royal blue, one unforgettable October
The Royals’ 1985 comeback against St. Louis delivered one of baseball’s most dramatic World Series finishes. Kansas City won another championship in 2015, one year after coming within a game of the title.
Royals fans make Kauffman Stadium’s fountains part of the show, bringing a family-friendly, heartland spirit to summer baseball. The Cardinals rivalry carries the history of the 1985 “I-70 Series,” while division games with Cleveland and Detroit keep the AL Central intensely local.
