Flames rise, Liberty strong
Liberty’s 2023 team completed an undefeated regular season, won Conference USA, and earned a Fiesta Bowl berth—an unprecedented postseason stage for the program. The achievement marked a defining moment in Liberty’s climb through college football.
Flames fans bring red-and-blue pride to Lynchburg and rally around the eagle-and-flame identity. Matchups with Appalachian State and Old Dominion carry regional interest, while conference games with Jacksonville State and Western Kentucky build new rivalries.
