Overview
Louisiana Tech Bulldogs
Tech tradition, Bulldog heart
Louisiana Tech claimed national championships in 1972 and 1973: a National Football Foundation title in 1972 and the NCAA Division II crown in 1973. The Bulldogs’ 1984 Independence Bowl victory in Shreveport gave the program another memorable moment in its home region.
Bulldog fans bring blue-and-red pride to Ruston and represent a wide swath of north Louisiana. The rivalry with Southern Miss is a classic regional matchup, while games against UAB and Louisiana connect the Bulldogs to neighboring programs.
