Fear the Deer, celebrate Milwaukee
Milwaukee won its first NBA championship in 1971 and captured another in 2021, when Giannis Antetokounmpo delivered an iconic Finals performance. Both title runs gave Wisconsin unforgettable celebrations and a lasting basketball legacy.
Bucks fans fill the arena in green and cream, with “Fear the Deer” uniting Milwaukee and supporters across Wisconsin. The rivalry with Chicago is a natural Great Lakes matchup, while games against Indiana and Detroit carry Central Division pride.
