Mississippi State Bulldogs
Hail State, Starkville loud
Mississippi State’s 1941 team is recognized by the school as a national champion, and the 2014 Bulldogs reached the top of the national rankings during a landmark season. Those moments gave Starkville a place in college football’s wider story.
Bulldog fans bring maroon-and-white pride and the sound of cowbells to Davis Wade Stadium. The Egg Bowl rivalry with Ole Miss divides the state each year, while games with LSU and Alabama bring SEC stakes to Starkville.
