New Mexico Lobos
Lobo pride, Albuquerque heart
New Mexico’s 2007 New Mexico Bowl victory delivered a postseason celebration on home soil and remains a special milestone for the Lobos. The program has also produced standout defenses and bowl teams that represent a deep football culture in Albuquerque.
Lobo fans bring cherry-and-silver pride from across New Mexico, with the state’s high-desert setting giving game day its own character. The Rio Grande Rivalry with New Mexico State is the annual centerpiece, while matchups with UTEP add regional history.
