Overview
New Orleans Pelicans
New Orleans, united by the game
The franchise’s 2008 run to the Western Conference semifinals and its 2018 return to that round gave New Orleans memorable playoff moments. The team’s history also includes stars such as Chris Paul and Anthony Davis, who helped build local excitement around NBA basketball.
Pelicans fans bring Crescent City flavor to the arena, where Mardi Gras colors and the team’s bird identity reflect New Orleans. The rivalry with Memphis is a natural regional contest, while Houston and Dallas add Gulf Coast and Texas connections.
