New York Mets Feed

The “Miracle Mets” stunned baseball in 1969 to win the franchise’s first World Series, and the 1986 team followed with a dramatic championship finish of its own. Those two title runs created an enduring Mets identity built around hope, resilience, and unforgettable October baseball.

Mets fans bring Queens pride to Citi Field, from the Mr. Met mascot to the “Let’s Go Mets” chant that carries through the stands. The Subway Series with the Yankees gives New York its crosstown rivalry, while the Braves and Phillies keep the NL East competitive.
