Overview
New York Rangers
Broadway Blueshirts, New York pride
The Rangers’ 1994 Stanley Cup gave New York its first Rangers championship since 1940 and produced one of the city’s most celebrated sports moments. The franchise’s history also includes titles in 1928, 1933, and 1940 and generations of hockey legends.
Rangers fans fill Madison Square Garden with blue-shirt tradition and unmistakable New York energy. The rivalry with the Islanders divides the city and Long Island, while New Jersey and Philadelphia bring classic Metropolitan Division edge.
