Overview
Oklahoma Sooners
Boomer Sooner, Oklahoma
Oklahoma’s seven national championships include the 1950s dynasty, the 2000 title team, and multiple eras of record-setting offense. The Sooners’ 47-game winning streak from 1953 to 1957 remains one of college football’s remarkable achievements.
Sooner fans bring crimson-and-cream pride to Norman and sing “Boomer Sooner” throughout the game. The Red River Rivalry with Texas is one of the sport’s greatest traditions, while Oklahoma State brings the Bedlam Series and state bragging rights.
