Monarch pride, Norfolk strong
Old Dominion began football in 2009 and quickly built a winning identity, reaching the FCS playoffs and capturing Conference USA titles. The Monarchs’ 2016 conference championship delivered a major milestone for Norfolk and Hampton Roads.
ODU fans bring royal-blue pride to game day and represent the Hampton Roads community. Rivalries with James Madison and Virginia carry statewide stakes, while Marshall and Appalachian State add regional competition.
