Seattle’s first Super Bowl title after the 2013 season capped a remarkable run led by the Legion of Boom defense. The Seahawks’ emphatic championship win gave the 12s one of the loudest and proudest celebrations in Pacific Northwest sports history.
The 12s treat the crowd as part of the team, bringing a famous volume and a strong Pacific Northwest identity to game day. NFC West games with San Francisco and the Rams are recurring tests, and the rivalry with each neighbor gives the schedule extra edge.
The Seahawks announced they've signed wide receiver/special teamer Irv Charles off their practice squad and released cornerback Trevon Diggs to make room. They subsequently signed Diggs back to their practice squad (as a vested veteran, he didn't have to go through waivers).
The Seahawks ruled out RB Zach Charbonnet (knee) for their Sunday night game vs. the Chiefs.
S Nick Emmanwori (hip), QB Drew Lock (elbow) and OLB Connor O’Toole (hamstring) are questionable.
LBs Drake Thomas (ankle) and Chazz Surratt (calf) are out.
