Southern Miss Golden Eagles
Southern Miss, To the Top
Southern Miss won Conference USA championships in 1997 and 1999, with Brett Favre’s Golden Eagles era helping put Hattiesburg on the football map. The program’s bowl victories and memorable upsets have created a proud Gulf South tradition.
Golden Eagle fans bring black-and-gold pride and the “To the Top” call to game day. The rivalry with Louisiana Tech is a natural regional contest, while Tulane and Memphis connect Southern Miss to historic neighboring programs.
