Orange pride, Syracuse strong

Syracuse’s 1959 national championship team, led by Ernie Davis, remains one of the program’s most celebrated squads. The Orange added a dramatic 1987 undefeated season and a 2001 Orange Bowl victory to their football legacy.
Orange fans bring the “Cuse” spirit to the Dome, where the enclosed stadium creates a distinctive home atmosphere. The rivalry with Pittsburgh is a longtime eastern contest, while Boston College and West Virginia add regional history.
