Overview
Tampa Bay Lightning
Thunder in the Bay, champions at heart
Tampa Bay captured Stanley Cups in 2004, 2020, and 2021, building a championship tradition around stars such as Martin St. Louis, Steven Stamkos, and Victor Hedman. The consecutive championships in 2020 and 2021 made the Lightning a defining team of that era.
Lightning fans bring blue-and-white pride to Tampa Bay and have helped make hockey a fixture in Florida. The rivalry with the Panthers is the Sunshine State series, while Boston and Toronto bring Atlantic Division intensity.
