Troy won the 1968 NAIA national championship and NCAA Division II titles in 1984 and 1987 and claimed Sun Belt titles in 2017 and 2022. Those championship eras gave the Trojans a powerful football tradition in Alabama and across the South.
Troy fans bring cardinal-and-silver pride to Veterans Memorial Stadium and gather for the Trojan Walk. The Battle for the Belt with South Alabama is the in-state rivalry, while games with Louisiana and Appalachian State carry Sun Belt stakes.
