Vanderbilt’s early teams helped establish college football in the South, and the Commodores’ 2012 and 2013 seasons brought consecutive nine-win campaigns and bowl victories. Those seasons gave Nashville a memorable run of football success.

Commodore fans bring black-and-gold pride to Nashville and represent a university at the heart of Music City. The rivalry with Tennessee is the state’s annual contest, while Kentucky and Ole Miss add SEC tradition.

BA’s top projected newcomer is James Tronstein, which makes Vanderbilt the only team in the SEC to have a freshman as the top newcomer. (And it’s not due to having a small or bad transfer class either!)
