Washington Spirit: Washington Spirit soccer pride
Washington Spirit won the 2021 NWSL Championship, a title secured through a dramatic final and a season of resilience. The championship gave the capital a defining women’s-soccer celebration and established a proud club legacy.
Spirit supporters bring capital-region pride and black-and-red energy to Audi Field, with a community that spans Washington, Maryland, and Virginia. The rivalry with Gotham FC is a Mid-Atlantic and Northeast clash, while North Carolina Courage matchups carry regional history.
