Fines for Washington: Dorance Armstrong (unnecessary roughness; facemask) for $11,941 And Amik Robertson (unnecessary roughness; low block) for $12,537

Commanders DE Dorance Armstrong (facemask) and CB Amik Robertson (low block) were fined $11,941 and $12,537, respectively, for unnecessary roughness against the Giants last weekend. Robertson was also fined for Week 4, bringing his season total to $24,478.

Quinn on Bill and what he's facing longer-term: "He had a re-injury of his groin. So, that's harder. The same injury. We're going to work really hard to get him back, but it's the same groin injury, a repeat of that."

Ruled out for Monday: Bill Croskey-Merritt, Javontae Jean-Baptiste, Charles Omenihu and Marcus Mariota. Everyone else will travel to SF. Decisions on players such as Jeremy McNichols will be made Monday.

The Commanders' 3rd downs have been an issue this season — largely because their 1st and 2nd downs have been issues. It's led to way too many 3rd-and-longs; a league-high 64.6% of the their 3rd-down attempts have been for >=7 yards. Avg. distance to 1st on 3rd downs: 8.1 yards, third-most in the NFL.
